I’m pleased to share that a poetry sequence from my current collection, ‘fable’, has been published in the University of Sheffield’s creative writing magazine, Route 57. Issue 18 is titled ‘The Book of Water’ and my sequence, ‘again’, explores water as cleansing and renewing in relation to trauma. Harley E. Ryley is a memoir writer, poet & accidental novelist. She is studying for her PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Sheffield, funded by the AHRC via the White Rose College of Arts & Humanities. Her thesis is a memoir about writing a memoir, developing an innovative approach to writing and teaching the form. Sounds fun right?
